I'm looking for a third roommate for an apartment on UWS. Close to Central Park, close to trains, close to social spaces. Rent would be about 1,500 a month with one month free. The occupants would be me [ female], my friend, [male] and my lovely and friendly pup, who is a 50lb Belgian Malinois.
I was born in Brooklyn and raised here. I went to college at NYU Tandon School of Engineering (formerly called Brooklyn Poly). I currently work an 8-5 job in Midtown and want to move to Manhattan to be much closer to work, especially now that I have a dog and need to walk her in the morning and in evening, and possibly at lunch as well!
I love traveling (I spent a few months in 2017 in a pick-up truck traveling across the US and Canada and picked up my pup on the way!). I love reading books and doing new and exciting stuff.
My roommate is a chill guy- likes video games and occasional adventures. We also both like cooking so thats undoubtedly a perk of cohabitation.

A gorgeous apartment with brand new furnishings, half a block from the park, around the corner from the trains, two or so streets from supermarkets, bars, and other signs of life. This place is super cozy and quiet. My dog is adorable and makes most bad days disappear in a cloud of tummy rubs and head pats. The rent is about 1500, one month and we can do month to month or year long lease, depending on your needs.
I work in a GC/CM company, my friend is in software engineering, I love food, making, eating, discussing, craving etc. I also love books so be prepared that a mini library will sprout up in the living room. Hiking, nature, adventure, travel, etc etc etc are all up there on list of favorite things.
I am hoping that whoever takes the third room is clean, respects space, and is a good person to hang out with, have wine and cheese with, discuss whatever floats up in my head, explore, and most importantly, someone who is happy to see my dog.
If you think this is a good fit, please let me know. We are pretty much ready to move in, and as an added perk, I have a pickup truck so if you do need to make an emergency run into IKEA- I can help!
