Hi, I'm a teacher who was just hired in Petaluma, and want to move closer to work, so I'm looking for Novato to Rohnert Park, Or in Napa, where I am right now. I'm out of the house at 6:30 am and back at 5 pm, and on the clean end of the scale.

I also have a lovely soul, a little Australian Shepherd, who is a total sweetheart, friendly, a "hand the flashlight to the burglar" kind of guy. He is an AKC Certified Good Companion, and we are a pet therapy team. He also has the paper as a support animal, which opens up more options for houses.

I have applied to a couple apartments and came in second, and was advised that a two income household is why. In this market, 61K is not enough income to get a one bedroom, go figure.
