This apartment has the best balcony in Brooklyn. It is huge and overlooks the Manhattan skyline from the highest point in Brooklyn. There's an outdoor dining table, lounge furniture, grill, and garden.

There is a living room, dining area, reading nook, bathroom with shower/tub, and kitchen (well-stocked with appliances because I love cooking). Tons of light with huge windows overlooking the neighborhood (our floor is higher up than all the neighboring buildings).

Your bedroom is large by New York standards with a proper closet, bed, shelves, and room for more if you want. If you have your own furniture, we can just sell the stuff already there. The floor plan is great, with your bedroom just off the living room and mine at the opposite end of the apartment off the reading nook, so lots of privacy.

The neighborhood is awesome. Great restaurants and bars, and Prospect Park is an easy walk or bike ride. I like to bike over to the green market or the Park Slope Food Coop on weekends. Easy access to Park Slope, Industry City, and Sunset Park. Accessible by the R/N/D or the B63 bus. The F/G are walking distance, too.

I have been living here for about five years, but my roommate tragically is moving out of state. Move-in date is flexible, as early as May 19 or June 1. I'm looking for a quiet, clean roommate. I'm super-nerdy, love cooking/traveling, and am in my early thirties. I work as an immigration and human rights lawyer in Manhattan.

We are on the seventh floor and there is an elevator. The basement has coin laundry machines, although I personally prefer the laundromat across the street. I don't have any pets, but cute, fluffy small dogs are allowed (but I think there's a special pet security deposit).

Water and heat are included in rent. Electricity is like $35/each/month. Wifi is Spectrum or FIOS. TV has Chromecast and broadcast. Both bedrooms have a window AC unit. The apartment is rent stabilized and a total steal for the price. Because I have been living here so long the landlord gives us a major discount (the neighbors pay practically double).
