Bedroom in 2 BR apartment in Bushwick

It is a 2 bedroom second floor apartment in Bushwick 1 block away from the Montrose L train stop and a 10-minute walk from the G train Broadway stop. You will be moving into the bedroom pictured.

The apartment has central air, a gas stove, roof deck, washer and dryer in the next building, and a backyard where you can grill, have guests, etc.

You aren't just renting a room we are sharing the apartment. You don't need to bring any furniture besides what you want in your bedroom, I have everything covered. If you have extra furniture we can discuss that as well.

I am looking for a roommate who is clean and courteous above all. Ideally, I would like for someone to move in who I can occasionally go out and grab a beer with but if not that is fine too.

About me:
I am a 31-year-old software engineer, originally from Boston, and I work for The Tylt. I like to keep a relatively clean apartment but I am not a nut about it. I do try to clean once a week and I normally have a cleaner come every 2 months to tidy the place up.

I'm fine with sharing my appliances. The apartment has most of the appliances you can think of plus I like to make cold brew which I am willing to share!

Rent is $1250 a month plus utilities. it can be anywhere between 80 in the winter and up to 140 during the summer. I bought a Nest thermostat in order to try to get the summer electric bill down.

First and last month's rent($2500) is required prior to moving in.

The move in date will be August 1 and would be a 1-year stay with an option to stay another year if things work out.
