Hi there! I'm Ilana. I live in Sugar Hill, Harlem and I love my apartment. I work in theatre and live events, and I'm rarely home. That being said, I love to come home to a peaceful, quiet, and clean place. I'm looking for a roommate who works in the arts who may want to use the third bedroom in the apartment as a work space. I'm look at you set designers, costume designers, architects, fashion designers, and craft folk! As much as I love animals, they are unfortunately not allowed to live in the apartment. The person who moves into the apartment must sign a 1-year lease from October 1st, 2017 to October 1st 2018 and have a guarantor. The rent is split between us ($1,100.00 each) and utilities as well (that comes to about $80.00-$90.00 per person depending on the season. The room will come with an AC unit and furniture for purchase from my current roommate. I hope to find a chill, female, artist on here! Message me with any questions :)

The apartment is a cozy 3-bedroom on the second floor of a 5 or 6-story walk up. The apartment has a great-sized kitchen, basic bathroom with a toilet, sink, and tub/ shower, and a living room. I have a coffee table, pull-out couch, and a turquoise comfy chair in the living room to relax and to have out-of-town guests. I have Spectrum TV and WiFi. The laundromat is across the street and they have self-service and drop-off. The super, Leo, lives nearby, and he is very responsive on weekdays and in emergencies. As I mentioned earlier in the profile, there is a small third bedroom that I want you to utilize as a workspace. Do you have a drafting table or dress form that you need to work? It'll fit in the room! I want the apartment to be a creative, and peaceful place to come home to.
