Originally from Daytona Beach, FL, New York has been my home for 10 years. I love to write, cook/bake, travel, listen to music, small dance parties and meeting new people. Not a fan of bringing the party home, however I enjoy having small get togethers/dinner parties as well as going out on the town here and there. Most of all I enjoy curling up on the couch with a glass of wine, reading a good book, or watching Netflix. Ideally I would like to have a roommate who doesn't mind an occasional chat and hang out. Someone who sees our home as a sanctuary; an escape from the city/work life.

The bedroom that is available will be available for move in August 1st . First and security will be due upon move in (so that's a total of $2400). The bedroom will be unfurnished. The entire apt is fully furnished and decorated, so nothing is really needed besides whatever you would like to have in your bedroom.
This is a beautiful 2 bedroom (1 bathroom) apt located in Bushwick. The building has a 24 hour Gym and Laundry Room! The apartment also has Central AC & Heat.
The available bedroom can fit a full or queen size bed, as well as a dresser, desk and night stand. It also has a large closet and a balcony.
My name is on the lease so I don't require you to sign the lease, nor do I require a security check. I do however, require whoever moves in to sign a roommate agreement, so that way you nor I get screwed over in any way.
I am not a total neat freak, but I do like a clean household and hope to have the kind of roommate that doesn't mind helping in keeping the house somewhat tidy. There is no smoking allowed in the apt (if you do smoke there is a balcony off your bedroom.) I'm not a fan of bringing the party home; although I occasionally have friends over for dinner parties or get together's. Other than that, I am really laid back and like to come home and have a glass of wine or watch a movie here and there. If I am not working I am usually out with friends.
Although I love animals, I'm looking for a roommate without any pets.
You can take the L or the JMZ and it takes about 15min to get into the city. If you take the JMZ it's the Myrtle Broadway Stop and if you take the L it's the Morgan stop. The apartment is in walking distance of great bars, restaurants and stores.
