My apartment is located in the Journal Square area of Jersey City. It's 5 minutes from the Path station and 15 minutes from lower Manhattan. The bedroom is relatively large with a window overlooking the back of the building, a full size bed fits in there comfortably. There is a shared living room and dining area as well as a small kitchen and extra small room which is currently not being used for anything in particular. If you are an artist or musician I would consider turning this room into a work space. Heat and hot water is included in the monthly rent but other utilities including WiFi are separate. The monthly rent for the room is very low for the area because the building is a rent controlled co-op. The tenants are mostly families so it is quiet. There is also a laundry room in the building and a small courtyard.
